The Ride For Life Challenge is on again. Sunday 28th October.

Now in its third year, the ride is an 80km loop around the city departing from and returning to Northshore Riverside Park. This is your opportunity to join other fellow cycling enthusiasts and rub shoulders with one of world cycling’s biggest names and Ride For Life Challenge ambassador, Robbie McEwen on a non-competitive ride around Brisbane and surrounds.

Starting and finishing at Northshore Riverside Park at Hamilton, this fully supported ride will include full police escort, rest stops with refreshments, route marshals, first aid, mechanical support and support vehicles.

Corporate groups, local teams and individuals are encouraged to register. This is a social event, but due to the nature and level of difficulty of the set course, this event is not suitable for young children, new riders or mountain bikes. Spectators are welcome on the day.

All proceeds of the 2012 Brisbane BMW and Westside BMW Ride for Life Challenge will go to Guide Dogs Queensland and The Heart Foundation Queensland.

Registrations open Wednesday 5 September 2012 and can be completed at
